Welcome to the Illinois Leadership Inventory (ILI), a tool designed by the Illinois Leadership Center to help students better understand themselves and their leadership competencies. At Illinois, we define leadership through 21 competencies across four levels of practice: Personal/Self, Interpersonal/Team, Organization, and Community/Society.

Each module will ask you a series of questions about the leadership competencies in that level of practice. It will take you approximately 15-20 minutes to complete each module. Upon completion of a module, you will be provided with suggestions and recommendations for mastering each competency.
